The part of the “Sixth Demand” research narrative that I found difficult was finding a good balance of sources between student opinion pieces, academic research, and news sources. I decided on what sources to use based on patterns that emerged in my survey data such as negative feelings toward the subway service, financial concerns, and number of commuter students that use the MTA. Because the intention of the Sixth Demand was to be shared with the administration, I also looked for sources that highlighted unique elements about CCNY info such as average family income, percentage of commuter students, student racial demographic, and CCNY mission statement. In this way, I tried to balance both quantitative and qualitative evidence. 

Another part that I found challenging was how to do proper MLA 9 formatting. I used the template on JSTOR and followed it to the best of my ability. Moving forward, I will try to practice using MLA 9 format to get more accustomed to it.
